2018 JAZZ BENEFIT
Thanks to all attendees and supporters of HELP’s 2018 Jazz Benefit, we raised over $75,000! This year’s event was our most successful yet!
Held at the Museum of the City of New York, supporters celebrated another prosperous year for the organization and toasted to the future of HELP.
Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by performances by the phenomenal ensemble of Grammy award winner Cecile McLorin Salvant, Aaron Goldberg, Godwin Louis, Obed Calvaire and Paul Sikivie throughout the night.
HELP students Jupille Facile (’19, Civil Engineering) and Fegens Tinègre (‘18, Agronomy) along with Development Officer Daphnee Charles (’15, Agro-Economics) made the trip from Haiti to share their experiences and gratitude to the room of supporters, reminding us all of the living impact of your donations.
pecial thanks to those who made the event such a smashing success, including Voila Event Solutions, our wonderful MC Freddy Boom-Boom and our generous sponsors: Helen Bodian and Roger Alcaly; Haitian Timoun Foundation; Derek Jean-Baptiste; and Roy Joseph and Gavin Leo-Rhymie.
From our students, board of directors and staff—THANK YOU!
Mèsi Anpil!
