In a world where "religion" has become synonymous with a number of negative stereotypes, Holy Cross is forging a new narrative where churches are positive and transformative catalysts locally, nationally, and globally. Holy Cross believes the "colonizing narrative" of Christianity has created irreparable harm worldwide for centuries. Their response to this harmful and traumatic narrative and its consequences is to look for opportunities to listen, learn, and lead with humility. To be able to be a partner with HELP and the student Holy Cross is connected with over the years is a deeply honoring experience for them. More than just a partnership, Holy Cross believes this experience helps create the bonds that lead them to see and understand one another as family.
