HELP's Impact Across Haiti: Alex Pedro Bonhomme

Though insecurity and uncertainty have marked the experience of learning and living in Port-au-Prince over the past several years, they do not represent life everywhere in Haiti. Throughout the country, from mangrove marshes and social businesses on Haiti’s northern coast to NGOs in the south, HELP graduates have undertaken unique, inspiring projects with organizations that, like HELP, are continuing the quiet and persistent work of social progress. We invite you to hear from Alex about his pursuits and how HELP has positioned him for success.

ALEX PEDRO BONHOMME (economics '20) - "MEAL" Coordinator at Hope for Haiti

Alex Pedro came to HELP in 2016 from Les Cayes with an impressive high school transcript, a love of learning, but few options to pursue higher education.  Four years later, Alex Pedro feels like he got much more than a degree; it is the additional skills he honed at HELP that made him an ideal job candidate to Hope for Haiti when they were looking to build their Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, & Learning ("MEAL") team.  Read Hope for Haiti's blog on Alex Pedro's journey and his work across several sectors.
