In remembrance

On January 12th 2010, HELP lost Evenson Jean and Marc-Erline Dezulma, two promising students whose lives ended, as Marc-Erline’s family put it, “before their proper conclusion.” Many HELP staff and students also lost family and friends on that day. As we mark the fifth anniversary of our losses, the thoughts and prayers of the HELP community are with all of those affected by the tragic effects of the earthquake. As Roodly Joseph (HELP class of 2000) said, “We have to come up strong. Nou pa ka lage (We can’t give up).”
